Lindsey Vonn’s Workout And “Chin Drip” Challenge Are Rock Solid — Eat This Not That

When it comes to being fit, Alpine skier and Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn knows how it’s done. After all, the athlete has a total of four World Cup overall titles under her belt, which is beyond impressive. Therefore, when a legend like Vonn posts an intense workout and challenges us to a “chin drip” on Instagram, we are intently listening. It’s safe to say Lindsey Vonn’s workout is intense, so read on to learn what it’s all about and how you can get involved in the “chin drip” challenge, too. Vonn is all about staying fit, and she’s clearly a dog lover. She recently posted a ski workout video with her adorable pups. Two of the pups were running beside her, and the third was in her arms while the pro skier did her workout up and along the slopes. The post was captioned, “Hiked up the mountain to get my #chindrip. Hope you guys are crushing it today. Tag me and @projectrock with your own chin drip! Let’s go (muscle emoji).”

What’s a chin drip? We were hoping you’d ask! Vonn has initiated the “chin drip” challenge, which she discusses in another Instagram video. The gold medalist challenges everyone to get to the gym, sweat it up, and work hard enough to make your chin drip. She captioned the post with, “After doing the chin drip for a while and getting inspired by all of your hard work…I think we should make #ChinDrip challenge a thing!”

The 37-year-old former Olympic skier (now businesswoman) has 2.1M followers on Instagram and recently posted another intense workout video, where she performs side-to-side dumbbell twists and squats. She ends her routine with puppy hugs/kisses for one of her pups, Jade, followed by a jump in the pool for some puppy frolicking. She captioned that post with, “Dogs make everything better…even workouts (heart/dog emojis),” and we couldn’t agree more.

The post raked in over 26K likes and inspirational comments like, “The best workouts happen with our dogs beside us (heart/dog/workout emojis),” and, “#projectrock in the building (muscle emojis).” This Alpine skier is brimming with total ‘fitspo, and we are here for it.

When Vonn’s not working out alone or with her pups, she stays fit with celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson, according to Women’s Health Magazine. She performs weight pushes, tire lifts, reverse lunges, resistance band squats, and one-armed jerk lifts.

Once an Olympic star, always a star. Vonn gave some motivation to Women’s Health, too, which we can all use as inspiration as we head to the gym. “I like feeling strong, and when I feel physically strong, I feel so much more mentally strong. When I work out, I feel like I’m healthier and more confident. I’ve achieved something, no matter how small,” she says, adding that she finds comfort in going hard at the gym.
