It’s hard work to look as amazing as Kate Beckinsale—or shall we say, it involves an ultra-intense workout regimen. In one of the actress’s most recent Instagram posts, she shared a video of herself taking core strength to the next level. Beckinsale shared a recent workout on Instagram, and it’s easy to see why the video raked in more than 46,000 likes and over 422,000 views. It appears the star is doing an incredibly impressive abs workout in a gym with her legs hooked onto a ceiling ladder, hanging upside down, as she performs crunches towards the ladder and ceiling. Beckinsale captioned her video with a yellow heart, which appropriately coordinates with the yellow ladder and gym equipment accents.
Some of Beckinsale’s 5.2 million followers were clearly all about the strong, killer ab moves as they showed her post all the love and admiration. Comments like, “Damn girl (2 fire emojis),” “ABs of steel KB. You go girl,” and “Beast mode active” showered her post, and we couldn’t agree with the praise more.

The star has previously given fans an inside look into her workout on social media. Beckinsale posted an Instagram carousel of herself performing captain’s chair leg raises, battle rope exercises, and stretching that shows how incredibly flexible she is.
Beckinsale revealed to Women’s Health in 2019, “I’m very connected to my body, so if I’m going to experience stress, I’m probably going to experience it physically. So it’s usually a good idea for me to go do something physical to get rid of it. I kind of have to think of myself as a horse or something—time for a run around the paddock.”

Beckinsale also shared her self-care regime in a Nov. 2021 interview with PEOPLE, saying, “I didn’t really have a skincare routine until I was much older, probably in my late thirties, early forties,” adding, “I’m really lucky, my mum’s got really good skin.” She also noted, “I obviously think some of it is a genetic thing, although you can mess that up. I didn’t see sun for the first several decades of my life and that’s probably been a big help.”
The star uses sunscreen, enjoys pampering herself by taking actual bathes each day, and has never had a chemical peel, saying, “I really would like to, because I see people who’ve had them but I just think something will go wrong and I’d be scarred.”
Beckinsale revealed to PEOPLE some of her favorite self-care products, which include Pantene shampoo and conditioner, Cetaphil soap, and cherry and strawberry Chapstick (which is such a classic).
